We help women in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania by providing different kinds of assistance. “Women Education and Economic Center” (WEECE) is a community-based, non-profit organization using an integrated approach to address the problems of poverty and discrimination. Our mission is to support marginalized women to achieve economic stability and gender equality.

Our Services

VICOBA
WEECE supports rural women to start their own businesses giving them the opportunity to contribute to the household income, to support their families and to increase their self-esteem. The Village Community Bank program (VICOBA) has been established with the aim to give women a perspective and the funds to start a business and to run community-owned projects.

WEECE realized the struggle that women face in reaching health services in daily life sitiuation, requiring them to walk long distances to get these services. With our innitatives we are trying to lower those issues women have.
